07 — FAQ

Questions, answered straight.

Why was trackd built?

trackd was built because workout apps keep adding things lifters don't need — AI coaches, social feeds, badges, workout libraries. People who already know how to train just need a fast place to plan, log, and see progress. trackd is that, and nothing else — with your training data kept in your own cloud rather than on someone else's server.

Is trackd free?

trackd is free for 45 days, with no credit card required. After the trial it becomes read-only — your history stays visible and exportable, nothing is deleted. To keep logging, pick any plan: €2.99/month, €19.99/year, or €49.99 once. Every plan unlocks everything; the only difference is how you pay.

What can you do inside trackd?

You plan, log, and track progress. Build your own training plans — workouts, exercises, supersets, reps or seconds, rest per exercise. Log sets in two taps with last week's weights already filled in, and rate the effort. A rest timer starts itself if you want it to. Progress shows every lift as a table or a chart, week over week. Everything exports as one file, and it all syncs to your own cloud.

Where is my workout data stored?

Your training data lives on your phone and syncs to your own cloud — iCloud or Google Drive, depending on how you sign in. It never touches trackd's servers. The file is visible in your cloud account, so it's yours to keep, back up, or delete, even if trackd disappears tomorrow.

Does trackd have AI coaching or workout plans?

No, deliberately. trackd has no AI coach, no pre-built workout library, no recommendations, no social feed, and no badges. You already know how to train — trackd is the place to plan your own workouts, log your sets in two taps, and watch your numbers climb.

Does trackd work offline?

Yes, fully. Every set you log is saved on your phone instantly, with no connection needed — gyms with dead signal included. When you're back online, your training syncs to your own cloud automatically.

What happens when my trial ends?

Your data stays. The app becomes read-only: you can see and export your whole history, but logging new sets needs a plan. Nothing is deleted, and there's no pressure mechanic — upgrade whenever you're ready and continue where you left off.

Can I cancel my trackd subscription?

Yes, anytime, in your Apple ID or Google Play settings — payments go through the stores, so cancelling is theirs, not ours to gatekeep. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Or buy Lifetime once and never think about it again.

What's the difference between the monthly, yearly, and lifetime plans?

Only the price. Every plan unlocks the entire app — unlimited plans, workouts and exercises, full logging and history, progress tables and charts, and sync to your own cloud. Monthly is €2.99, yearly €19.99, lifetime €49.99 once.
